Set in the space between the land of the living and that of the dead, from thine eyes follows six characters struggle to find meaning at the end of their lives, as they confront their deepest fears, most cherished memories and each other. Signal Theatre's newest production, developed in association with Native Earth Performing Arts, features the work of two of Canada's leading Aboriginal artists: Michael Greyeyes and Yvette Nolan. Signal Theatre, a Toronto-based performance company, founded by Michael Greyeyes in 2010, creates new theatre works. Shifting across all frequencies, Signal explores both physical and text-based theatre, which moves through the disciplines of dance, music, design and the spoken word. |
